Jonathan’s former aide calls him ‘a prophet’

Reno Omokri, the former special assistant on new media to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, thinks his former boss was a prophet.
He insinuated that Jonathan predicted the hardship Nigerians are going through during his campaign in 2015.
Omokri shared a speech made by Jonathan two years ago at Eagle Square in Abuja which read:
"The choice before Nigerians in the coming election is simple: A choice between going forward or going backwards; between the new ways and the old ways; between freedom and repression; between a record of visible achievements and beneficial reforms - and desperate power-seekers with empty promises..."
He called on Nigerians to share the post if they also think Jonathan was a prophet.
As the Naira hits $1 to ₦500, please take your time to carefully read Goodluck Jonathan's warning to Nigeria two years ago. Share this post if you think he was a prophet,” he wrote.

Some of his followers agreed with him, saying they made a big mistake voting President Muhammadu Buhari into power.
Ex Jonathan’s aide calls his former boss ‘a prophet’
After he was picked as the Peoples Democratic Party candidate for the 2015 presidential election, Jonathan on December 11, 2014, delivered an acceptance speech at Eagle Square in Abuja where he asked Nigerians to make a choice between a record of visible achievements and beneficial reforms - and desperate power-seekers with empty promises.
"Our political opponents shall assail us with the fury of their desperation to win power. They will use every means – intimidation, false accusations, hostile media and more. Do not descend to their level. We must stay focused on the mission at hand – to secure Nigeria’s future," he said.
The All Progressives Congress promised Nigerians change. As at Monday, January 30, the Nigerian naira hit its all-time low against the United States dollar.
The local currency traded for N500 to the dollar at the parallel market as against the N495 the week before.
