President Buhari writes emotional message to Atiku at 70

President Muhammadu Buhari has written an emotional message to Nigeria’s former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, who turns 70 on Friday, November 25. This message by the Nigerian president comes amid reports that former vice president is planning a 2019 takeover from him and a recent lashing out at the president over claims that Boko Haram has been defeated. In a letter which he personally signed, President Buhari welcomed Atiku “to the 70s club,” and prayed that Allah would grant him “many more years of good health and service to Nigeria.” President Muhammadu Buhari and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar having a nice time together. “Over the years, I have admired your courage and doggedness in defending your interests and your generosity in promoting education. The American University in Yola is one of your noble legacies, and my hope and wish is that it will endure,” Buhari was quoted to have written.
